Cabin for Sale

An 18' X 22' (outside dimension) Norway (red) pine student structure with stub walls up to one-half wall height and a built-in floor. The photo was taken last summer. It is much further along now -currently up to 10 rounds on the long sides, with two of the three log trusses built. It has three more wall layers to go, plus the assembly of the roof system.
It will probably be completed in May and is now for sale to anyone, as a log-shell with floor, 3 trusses, 2 purlins, and ridge log for $14,000.

The cabin can be easily disassembled by the buyer and assistants, and with the help of a local trucker (hired by the buyer) can be moved to any suitable location. For inquiries, call Ron at 218.365.2126, or email courses@schooloflogbuilding.com

An example of what the cabin for sale might look like finished. This is the 2005 student building purchased and finished by Kevin and Karlene Vail and moved to their property near Hibbing, MN.
